Parenting Mediations (FDR): Where you both agree to attend mediation with Olive Mediation
- Each of you should book in your Intake and Assessment on a date any time suitable to you by clicking the button below.
- This intake is confidential and is held between yourself and the mediator.
- You will automatically be assigned the mediator available on your selected date.
- The cost of Intake and Assessment is $330 per party. This is paid at the time of booking.
- Once the Intake and Assessment has been held with both parties, your mediator will confirm if mediation is suitable or not.
- If assessed as suitable: Mediation will be scheduled for either a half or full day.
- If assessed as not suitable: Your mediator is accredited to issue a section 60I certificate which is valid for 12 months.
Parenting Mediations (FDR): Where there is not yet an agreement to attend mediation
We understand that is sometimes not possible for parties to agree on attending mediation in parenting matters. For this reason, we do offer an optional invitation service ($330) which can be discussed in your Intake and Assessment.
- Book in an intake on a date and time suitable to you by clicking the button below.
- This intake is confidential and is held between yourself and the mediator.
- You will automatically be assigned the mediator available on your scheduled intake.
- The cost of Intake and Assessment is $330 per party. This is paid at the time of booking.
- Once the Intake and Assessment has been held with both parties (or the mediator has confirmation that mediation has been refused) your mediator will confirm:
- If assessed as suitable: Mediation will be scheduled for either a half or full day.
- If assessed as not suitable: Your mediator is accredited to issue a section 60I certificate which is valid for 12 months. - Note: Optional invitation service ($330). This fee will only be charged where the mediation invitation is made by Olive Mediation and refused and a section 60I certificate is ultimately required to be issued due to a refusal by the other party to attend. If the other party is invited and participates in their mediation, this fee will not be applicable and the $330 will be applied to your remaining mediation fees.
Property & Other Mediations:
- Mediation is voluntary and both parties are required to agree to attend and participate.
- In property only mediations or other disputes (this means there is no parenting element) we do strongly encourage you to first speak with the other party before booking your intake.
- This way you can confirm that they are agreeable and are aware of the costs.
- Otherwise we cannot guarantee that the other party will agreed to attend mediation or respond to our invitations.
Things to Note:
- If you have a mediator preference, please email us first so we can assist in accommodating that request as our mediators availability can change quickly.
- Payment is required at the time of booking.
